Hybrid - Sport
Welcome to The Hybrid - Sport Section of DNA Cycles.
Hybrid is a term used for a crossover between road bike and mountain bike - the majority of which come with a 700c Wheel (the same diameter as a road bike wheel) but with a more durable tyre and tread pattern, designed to be a good at a mix of road and off road.
Some hybrids are bias towards road, some off road. The difference is can be a few things; front suspension and wider tyres for the off road style, and slick tyres with road bike componentry on the latter. This section is dedicated to the more performance end of Hybrid bikes - including urban speed machines and front suspension mile munchers.
Another popular option at the moment are the road orientated single speed bikes, another option that we offer for those that want simplicity (and a bit more of a workout!). One of our most popular models is the Charge Plug - a single speed fixed or freewheel bike with a steel frame, forgiving yet fast!
